MDC University Delivers New Skills and Refreshers

Recognizing the increased need for on-demand learning solutions for remote teams, MDC launched MDC University (hosted on MDC Connect) right after the August Owner Meeting. Content has been developed with some of our key partners and subject matter experts. It’s an easy way to dig deeper into highly relevant topics at your own pace.

Member Experience

Our first courses on MDC University are focused on member experience. Designed in partnership with our MX experts Avtex, the courses are designed to give you a foundation in member experience:

  • Research 101
  • Journey Mapping 101
  • Design 101

Each course is designed with a video lesson, quiz, and additional resources you can download for future reference. These courses are a fantastic way to refresh or test your current knowledge or begin to understand the fundamental disciplines of member experience. You will receive a certificate for each course exam you pass—and if you pass all three, you’ll get an extra-special gift from MDC!

NEW! Innovation and Productivity

In September, we launched three different ways for you to get engaged with innovation and productivity training from FutureThink! Check out the latest additions to MDC University on MDC Connect:

  • 23 on-demand videos to build skills at your own pace—all FREE! These are short, 15-minute videos on MDC Connect and are accessible anytime by employees at all MDC owner organization for free.
  • In addition, 5 people at your organization can try FutureThink’s online courses FREE for one year (first come first served so register now before they’re gone!). These are longer, more in-depth videos hosted on FutureThink’s platform. Five people from each credit union are able to access them for one year for free. You have to sign up to get access using the link above. This offer expires on October 31, so register today!

The courses content for each module is insightful and each successive course built upon the previous one to increase the impact. The format was very user friendly and the exams had meaningful questions that require the taker to have a grasp of the content.

The three [MX Design] courses on MDC Connect are just what is needed to get a good basis for digging into a member eperience project.
