We’re thrilled about another year of helping our owners grow, collaborate, and improve. With the New Year comes new energy, new projects, and new events for our owners—here’s what you need to know:

New Year. New Owners.

2015 welcomed many new owners to MDC—who joined our family? Here’s a list:

  • GECU
  • Evansville Teachers Federal Credit Union
  • United Federal Credit Union
  • Public Service Credit Union
  • Bethpage Federal Credit Union
  • Meritrust Credit Union
  • CU Direct Lending

We look forward to welcoming new owners in 2016—to stay updated on our list of new owners be sure to follow us on Twitter.

The Big Event… Our Upcoming Winter Owner Meeting

Think beach, warm sun, blue water…Fort Lauderdale in February will be awesome! So far we have 80 owners registered from 36 of our credit unions—another great opportunity for our owners to meet, chat, and collaborate. Our lineup of speakers is also sure to turn heads. We’ve pulled innovators from both inside and outside of the industry to talk to our owners, get us thinking big-picture, and answer our most critical questions. Interesting, smart people from MTV, CEB, iHeartMedia, Kinetic Worldwide, Dorado Industries, and so many more—for a full list of our speakers, make sure to check out MDC Connect. See you there February 10-11!

Save the Date

The date for our Summer Owner Meeting has been announced—we’re headed back to theWit Hotel in Chicago August 3-4. Make sure to mark your calendars for another round of MDC Owner Meeting action. Registration will be opening in June.

The Project Horizon

MDC continues to strive to bring you the best and brightest project ideas—here’s what we are looking at for potential projects in 2016:

  • Channel traffic migrationrelated resource allocation, potential strategic responses and implications for member satisfaction & loyalty
  • P2P lending
  • Everyday language regulatory disclosures
  • Increasing members’ share of wallet
  • Using big data for indirect lending
  • Bitcoin and Blockchain
  • “The Internet of Things”
  • Demographic trends
